Description

Hand made by Pelham puppets in the 1950's. A very good example of this early puppet. All beautifully hand painted, very clean. Solid wooden head. Wooden body, limbs and feet. Composite moulded hands. Assembled using metal screw eyes. Metal strip hinging to legs and feet. Costume in extremely good condition, no moth damage or fading. Black felt hat in very good condition, no moth damage or fading. Red felt waistcoat with yellow thread buttons in very good condition, no moth damage. Original factory stamped wooden controller with all black strings. Original brown box in good condition with packing tissue. Character name reference stamped to one end of box lid. Please study photographs as they are an important part of the description.
